Material Safety Data Sheet

DyStar is a leading partner for the textile supply chain and is committed to environmentally advanced dyestuff production and application process development.

The new European Chemicals Regulation (REACH) came into effect on June 1, 2007. It imposes new obligations on all manufacturers and downstream users of chemicals. DyStar started to address the implications of REACH very early on and we have complied fully with REACH and the material safety data sheet regulations.

The aim is to ensure safe handling of chemicals throughout their whole life cycle. This is only possible if manufacturers and downstream users work together closely. Users are required to provide extensive information for their suppliers and customers. For example, suppliers must be notified of all uses of the chemicals purchased as they are required to take these intended uses into account in their chemical safety report. Based on this evaluation, the revised and extended material safety data sheet must contain details of how to ensure safe handling of the substance or preparation. For this communication the extended SDS will be the main instrument in the supply chain.

DyStar is committed to safer products and processes.
